No cookies unless you say so.

The short version: by default, this website sets no cookies and runs no tracking. There is no banner shouting at you the moment you arrive, because there is nothing to consent to. This page explains the few small exceptions and how to control them.
1. What we set by default
Nothing. Out of the box this site uses no advertising cookies, no tracking pixels, and no third-party analytics. You can browse it, read about the boats, and tap straight through to WhatsApp without anything being stored about you.
2. The one thing we may store locally
If analytics is ever switched on (see the next section), the cookie card will ask whether you allow it. Your answer — allow or decline — is remembered in your browser's local storage so we don't ask you again on every visit. That choice is the only thing stored, it lives only in your browser, and clearing it (or using the link below) makes the question reappear.
3. Optional, consent-based analytics
We may, in future, add anonymous analytics to understand which pages help people find a boat. If we do, it is set up so that nothing loads until you actively choose to allow it. Decline, and no analytics cookies are set at all. The default state is always 'off'.
When analytics is not configured, the cookie card does not appear, because there is genuinely nothing to ask you about.
4. The WhatsApp button
Tapping a WhatsApp link hands you over to WhatsApp with a message ready to send. That is a normal link, not a tracker — this site sets no cookie when you use it. Anything that happens after that is governed by WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy.
5. Managing your choice
If analytics is enabled and you've already answered the cookie card, you can change your mind at any time using the button below — it clears your stored choice so the card asks again. You can also clear your browser's site data, which has the same effect.
