1. Who we are

This website is run by Ksamili Boat Hire, a family-run boat-hire operator working out of Ksamil, Albania since 2018. Boats are picked up at Sea Breeze Seaside Bar & Restaurant, Rruga Riviera, Ksamil 9700.

The operator is responsible for the information described in this notice. The easiest way to reach us about anything — including a privacy question or a request to delete your details — is the same way you would book:

2. What we collect

There are only two ways this site touches your information, and one of them touches nothing at all:

• The inquiry form. If you fill in the contact form, we receive the name, email address and message you type in. That is sent to us as an email so the captain can read it and reply. Nothing from the form is stored in a database on this website.
• The WhatsApp button. When you tap a WhatsApp link, it simply opens WhatsApp with a message ready to send. This site does not see, log, or store anything about that — the conversation lives entirely inside WhatsApp, under WhatsApp's own terms.
• Basic server logs. Like almost every website, our hosting provider may briefly and automatically handle technical details (such as your IP address, the time, and which page was requested) to serve the page and keep the site secure.
• Optional, consent-based analytics. We do not run analytics by default. If we ever switch it on, it loads only after you choose to allow it on the cookie card — see our cookie notice.

3. Why we use it

We use what little we collect for one purpose: to run a small boat-hire business honestly.

• To read your inquiry and reply to it, and then to arrange and confirm your day on the water.
• To deliver the website and keep it working and secure (the server logs above).
• If — and only if — you allow analytics, to understand in aggregate which pages help people find a boat, so we can improve them. We never use this for advertising.

4. Booking and payment

Booking is arranged over WhatsApp or in person — there is no online checkout and no card details are entered on this website. Payment is taken in cash or by card at the dock, or by bank transfer in advance if you prefer. For quiet days in the shoulder season we usually take no deposit at all; we simply hold the date on the captain's calendar from your message.

If you pay by card at the dock or by bank transfer, those payments are handled directly between you and us (and, for transfers, your bank) — they do not pass through this website.

5. Who else sees your information

We do not sell your information, and we keep the list of others who touch it as short as possible:

• Our email provider, which carries the inquiry-form message to us.
• Our hosting provider, which serves the website and keeps the short technical logs described above.
• If you message us on WhatsApp, that conversation is handled by WhatsApp under its own privacy terms.
• If you choose to allow analytics, the analytics provider that measures aggregate page use.

6. How long we keep it

We keep inquiry-form emails only as long as we reasonably need them to answer you and follow up on a booking, and then we clear them out. Server logs are short-lived by their nature. We do not build a marketing database from the people who contact us.

7. Your choices and rights

You can ask us, at any time, what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it — just message us on WhatsApp or by phone and we will sort it out. You never have to use the form: the WhatsApp button and a plain phone call work just as well and tell us no more than you choose to say.

If analytics is ever enabled and you have allowed it, you can change your mind whenever you like from our cookie notice.

8. Children

This site is meant for adults arranging a boat day. We do not knowingly collect information from children through the inquiry form.

9. Changes to this notice

If our practices change we will update this page and move the date at the top. Because the site collects so little, changes should be rare.
